AYENI Emmanuel Ayodeji is the lead director of the New Being Foundation, Nigeria. He is passionate about community development through health research, education, community engagement and policy strategies. He has worked and volunteered for several non-governmental and international organisations on clinical research education capacity building and health-related projects including the catastrophic health burden of HIV/AIDs patients in North Eastern, Nigeria in 2013-2015. He served as the lead investigator at the Federal Ministry of Health/Adamawa state Ministry of Health in 2015 on maternal-child health delivery and post-partum haemorrhage complications. He was a junior consultant with Oxford Policy Management UK, contract Number: (8022/POR504406) on Educational Operational Research and Evaluation (EDOREN) and many other DFID projects in Nigeria. He Co-Facilitated with Vitamin Angels, USA and trained many NGO/CBOs service providers in Southwestern Nigeria on competent and safe service delivery of Vitamin A capsules and Deworming (Albendazole) medicine to eligible children age 6-59 months. Ayodeji obtained his bachelor’s of Technology degree in the Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Adamawa State, Nigeria and MSc. in Ahmadu Bello University, Nigeria with distinction. He received his Post Graduate Diploma in Education certificate in National Open University, Lagos-Nigeria and completed a certificate course at the School of Politics, Policy and Governance. His interest is on youths and teens, science advocacy, promoting quality wellbeing and advocating for safe utilisation and consumption of drugs.
